When Boozer and Deron Williams were doing the overwhelming majority of scoring in Utah's first series games, both losses, all the talk was about getting more players involved offensively.
In Game 3, Boozer, who had 27 points, and Williams, who scored 31, were the only two Jazz players with more than 11. But the Jazz didn't lose this time, and suddenly sharing the wealth doesn't seem so important.
"We won the game. And, you know, that's what matters. That's all we need," Kirilenko said. "We don't care about our points right now. Especially in the conference finals ... As long as we're winning, I'm fine."
IT'S ELECTRIFYING: Fisher the longtime Los Angeles Laker finishing his first season in Utah was asked by a national reporter Sunday if attitudes about Salt Lake City have evolved to the point NBA players actually want to come here.
Fisher agreed, crediting in part the focus on Utah when it hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Winning, it seems, really does cure all.
"Even L.A. stinks when everybody's losing," Fisher said. "Start winning, and all of a sudden things just look different."
