Catching up on the Jazz and the rest of the sports world ...

Who'd have ever believed that the Jazz would lay a 26-point thumping on the mighty Spurs Saturday night? Especially after trailing throughout the first 30 minutes of the game. Over the last 18 minutes of the game, the Jazz outscored the Spurs by an unbelievable 50-23 ...

As for Jazz point guard Deron Williams, all I can say is "wow." His play in the San Antonio series has been nothing short of phenomenal. In three games he is averaging 30.3 points and 9.0 assists per game on 54 percent shooting. Now what was the name of that Wake Forest point guard everyone thought the Jazz should have drafted? ...

Not to say either Boston or Memphis were tanking games, but for teams that might try that, it proves you just might be better off with the sixth-worst record in order to get a possible franchise player ...
