A Dixie man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a car on the St. George Boulevard.
Police said a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle was weaving in and out of traffic and speeding at about 3 p.m. Wednesday near 400 West and St. George Boulevard. His bike quickly caught up to a Dodge Neon ahead of him, police said.
"He was going faster than her. He caught up to her as she made her lane change and his front wheel contacted her right rear wheel," St. George Police Sgt. Craig Harding said Thursday.
Douglas E. Scholes, 47, of Hurricane, was killed. Police said he was not wearing a helmet. Police said they are still investigating the crash.
