Carrie A. Moore's article (May 19) discussing Postmormon.org painted a warm and fuzzy picture of the Web site and its contents. So, I decided to look into the site myself. While the pictures and color schemes of the site are quite pleasant, the site as a whole is pretty much the same as most other Web sites critical of the LDS Church. For example, it mocks and lampoons many areas of LDS culture and doctrine while often using straw man arguments in criticizing LDS scholars, writers and members.
Postmormon.org claims not to be anti-Mormon, but just like many other Web sites, it finds value in nearly all beliefs and philosophies, except for those found within the LDS Church.
