"They've engaged a lawyer so when that's involved there can be nothing said," Johnson said. "We've turned it over to our lawyer to discuss it with them."

Harrison and Ron Foggin, assistant city manager, also declined to comment.

Lehi City Attorney Ken Rushton could not be reached for comment.

The Johnstons, who have a background in electronic publishing, say they started citystinkers.com about a week ago to generate names for a petition that requests Doyle be reinstated as a coach. The petition, which so far has 68 signatures, also asks that a Youth Sports Program Governing Committee be established. The committee would be separate from Lehi's Legacy Center and recreation programs, but it would independently oversee the city's recreation programs.

The Johnstons say they have gotten positive feedback from www.citystinkers.com, and they don't plan to abandon the site or the fight against City Hall any time soon.

"We just want the truth to be known," Catherine Johnston said. "People say, 'You can't fight City Hall,' and, we say, 'Guess what? You can.'"
