MURRAY A free four-part series of classes on living with arthritis of the foot/ankle, hand, knee and hip will be held next week at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital.
Classes will cover arthritis care, treatment options and coping strategies. Classes will be held at TOSH, 5848 S. 300 East, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as follows: Monday arthritis of the foot/ankle; Tuesday arthritis of the hand; Wednesday arthritis of the knee; and Thursday arthritis of the hip.
At each class, an orthopedic surgeon will present the latest in medical and surgical options related to arthritis, a physical therapist will discuss exercise and lifestyle management options, a nutritionist will talk about dietary considerations, and representatives from the Utah Department of Health and Arthritis Foundation will share information on local arthritis classes and resources.
