OREM Portions of Geneva Road and 800 North will be closed Monday through May 29 for construction, Utah's Department of Transportation announced Friday.
Geneva Road will be restricted to one lane from 400 North to 1600 North in Orem while the road is being paved. The restriction will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday-Friday and on May 29.
On-street parking will also be restricted during this time and motorists should expect moderate travel delays, UDOT advises.
The north side of the intersection of 800 North and 800 East will be closed Monday-Thursday for pipeline installation. Motorists can use 1000 East as an alternate route.
According to UDOT, the speed limit through these construction zones is 35 mph and motorists should expect moderate travel delays through the area.
