1-800-CONTACTS call center honored

Draper-based 1-800 CONTACTS announced Wednesday that J.D. Power and Associates has recognized it as a certified call center.

The marketing information services firm conducted evaluations with more than 400 callers between March 6 and 29. Survey results showed 1-800 CONTACTS' overall satisfaction index score was the highest index score achieved in the call center certification program, the company, which has 320 workers at its call center, said in a statement.

The J.D. Powers report cited three specific areas that drove overall results: the strength of the company's customer service representatives, general call center operations and problem resolution.
