Demo women's group plans meeting, cleanup

PROVO — The Democratic Women of Utah County will hold a meeting Tuesday at the Riverside Country Club, 2701 N. University Ave.

Vik Arnold, the director of political action and government relations for the Utah Education Association will be the guest speaker.

The lunch is $15 and is open to all interested community members. Please RSVP by today, May 14.

The women's group will also be cleaning up the stretch of highway between Springville and Provo this Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Democratic women's group supports Project Read and other community groups, provides a yearly scholarship at Utah Valley State College and cleans up the highway two to three times a year.
