UDOT plans closures on Utah County I-15

The Utah Department of Transportation plans temporary closures of on- and offramps on Interstate 15 in Utah County for paving work.

The ramps for 500 East in American Fork will be closed through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Crews will close one ramp at a time. Motorists are advised to use American Fork's Main Street or the Pleasant Grove interchanges as alternate routes.

The ramps at the 1600 North interchange in Orem will be closed Friday and May 20 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Crews will close one ramp at a time, and motorists can use the 800 North interchange during the closure.

On May 21, the southbound offramp and northbound onramp at 800 North in Orem will close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Only one ramp will close at a time. Motorists are advised to use the 1600 North interchange as an alternate route.

As part of the widening project for 800 North in Orem, UDOT will permanently close access to 800 North from 50 West and 350 East beginning Tuesday. Motorists who need to access homes on 50 West will need to use 100 West or Main Street. Those who need to access homes on 350 West can use 300 East or 400 East.

There will be a temporary closure of 200 East in Orem through Friday for pipeline installation. Motorists needing access to 200 East can use 75 East to 1200 North or 300 East to 1000 North as alternate routes.
