2-0 lead? We've seen that before

About three weeks and a lifetime ago, things were reversed. All looked safe and secure for the Rockets. But there was that sneaking suspicion something was up with the Jazz. In the first game they hung with the Rockets into the early fourth quarter. But they thought they could have won. Two nights later, more of the same. They lost again, but they kept hanging around.

After winning two in Salt Lake, they lost a third game in Houston, this time by four points. They trailed by two with just 12 seconds left. And though they lost, it was apparently enough they weren't going away. They won the next two, including Game 7 in Houston.

With the Jazz-Warriors series moving on to Golden State, you have to wonder: Could this happen to the Jazz? They lost twice in Oakland during the regular season.

Beyond that, there's this: The Warriors don't seem intimidated or defeated. And they're as bothersome as a toothache. This time the Jazz led by 12 in the third quarter but trailed by five with 40 seconds to go in regulation. It was hectic, intense and downright goofy, nearly ending when Andrei Kirilenko inexplicably tried a 3-pointer with 1:54 left in regulation and the Jazz down by one.

But the team's undisputed leader, Williams, carried them through.

As Jazz left the floor and headed for the locker room, they left with the look of a team that had escaped by a hair.

They left looking over their shoulders.
