"That little guard that they put in actually hurt us and played a great game," said Nelson. "He was waiting for his opportunity and he got it — the Brown kid — and he just had a really good game."

Warriors star Baron Davis agreed: "I thought he gave them a great spark. He made some layups and played some great defense. He's somebody that kind of caught us off guard, but in the playoffs you can't let anybody catch you off guard. We'll be better prepared for him in Game 2 as well."

HOME COOKIN': The Jazz and Warriors split their four games during the regular season, each winning two games on their home court. With Utah winning on Monday night, that streak is still alive entering tonight's game at EnergySolutions Arena.

"It's a factor whenever you are at home," said Warriors swingman Jason Richardson. "The crowd is behind you, giving you energy, giving you momentum. So of course I think that was a factor for them."
