Run-and-gun Warriors not the only team firing away

Perimeter shots are a part of ordinary life for the Warriors.
They attempted 31 treys Monday. But for the season they averaged nearly 24 such tries. Don Nelson's coaching philosophy is if you've got it, overdo it. And they do.
"They (Warriors) could. They can take those (shots), because they've got great athletes," said Sloan.
To the Jazz's good fortune, the last of Golden State's 3-point attempts went awry with 7.7 seconds remaining, as Jackson tried to pull his team ahead. Did the Warriors ever consider going inside to tie, rather than take an outside shot? Please.
Why go inside when there's a perfectly open shot from the loading docks?
What all this means is that, thanks to Nellyball, the Jazz are in the mood to shoot, too. Though they say they plan to rein in their long-range impulses, that's easier said than done. The Warriors have that effect on you. So plan on it being that type of series. The big door-crasher event is now in progress. Free delivery within a 100-mile radius.
