"It was hard to get (the ball) inside (during Game 1)," he said. "We tried, but they were switching everything, and they would front (power forward Carlos Boozer). We tried to get a high-low going, but it's hard to get it to him ... when they surround him.

"We won without him really having a low-post game, but we've still got to work it in to Booz. We've got to go inside-out instead of outside-in for us to have a little bit more success."

JAZZ FANS: The Jazz have some big fans at TNT.

"The stuff (the Warriors) employed against (first-round opponent) Dallas they can't do against Utah," analyst Charles Barkley said on-air. "Baron Davis won't be able to bully Deron Williams like he did with (Mavericks) Devin Harris and Jason Terry. ... Utah is a deeper team and I think they have more offensive weapons. ... I think Utah is going to win this series, and as the series progresses their depth and Carlos Boozer are going to wear (Golden State) down."

Added studio partner Kenny Smith: "For Golden State to win, they have to come up with Plan B. Plan A of running them out of the gym, opening the floor and penetrating — that doesn't work against them. I believe Utah is the better team and they will advance, but (the series) will go a long way."<

TV TALK: Local television affiliates, including KJZZ, are contractually banned from airing second-round NBA playoff games carried on TNT or ABC, so tonight's TNT-televised game will be available only to cable or satellite subscribers.

HE SAID IT: Sloan, on facing off with Warriors coach Don Nelson as NBA players: "I didn't really guard him, because I wasn't big enough. Don's a lot bigger than I am. And he's even gotten bigger now."

HE SAID IT II: Sloan, on his team: "I tell them to win every game. Sometimes they don't listen."

MISC.: Sloan suggested he has no plans to test Davis' sore hamstring during the series. "I don't play those games," he said. ... Williams sounded like he had a head cold Tuesday but brushed off a question about being sick. A bug of some sort, however, has been working its way through the Warriors locker room, with Davis and forward Matt Barnes reportedly among those bothered by chest colds. ... Kirilenko isn't sure he'll be able to match his Game 1 seven-block total tonight. "Next game they'll be much more careful," he said of Golden State's shooters.
