The road racers have this weekend off from competition, but will be back in action May 19-20 at the Bear Lake Classic road race and team time trial.
Mountain bikers will get to tackle the 9-mile loop at Soldier Hollow in the fourth stop of the Intermountain Cup. The Hammerfest at the Hollow will take cyclists around the same course Olympic cross-country skiers traveled.
BBTC Ride of the Week: Ditch the skinny tires and grab your knobby wheels for 10 miles of work along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail Sunday at 2 p.m. Part of Cycle Salt Lake's bike week, the tour is free and will take riders from Popperton Park at 11th Avenue and Virginia Street for a scenic ride above the east bench. Call Rob Yuschak at 288-1330 for more information.
