SOFTBALL: BYU (37-17, 13-3) bounced back from its first loss in 16 games with an 11-10 victory over Colorado State (27-27, 6-9). The Cougars head to Orem to face Utah Valley State on Tuesday. Game time is set for 4 p.m.

SOCCER: Easton Folster, a senior at Springville High and a goalkeeper for the Springville Red Devils, accepted an offer to play soccer for BYU. He will begin the season the day after he graduates.

SOFTBALL: Southern Utah's softball team completed a three-game sweep of Mid-Continent Conference foe Missouri-Kansas City Saturday, taking both ends of a double-header following a 1-0 win Friday night. SUU improved to 25-29 overall and moved into second place in the Mid-Con with a 12-6 conference mark.

SOFTBALL: The Utah Valley State softball team split a doubleheader with Idaho State on Saturday, winning the opener, 13-5 in six innings and losing the second game, 11-8. Utah Valley concludes the 2007 season on Tuesday when they play host to BYU on Senior Day.

BASEBALL: Utah Valley State came out sluggish, and it cost them in a 9-5 loss to Air Force on Friday. Derrick Thomas hit his 10th home run of the season for Utah Valley and increased his average to an even .400 on the year, while Eli Slesk had two doubles for UV.
