TACOMA, Wash. The Tacoma Rainiers rallied with four runs in the fourth inning to post a 6-3 come-from-behind win over the Salt Lake Bees on Friday night.
Salt Lake took a 2-1 lead in the second on a two-run homer by Matt Brown and extended the lead to two runs in the fourth on a run-scoring groundout by Terry Evans.
In the bottom of the inning, Tacoma pulled to within one on a groundout by Brant Ust, and after Oswaldo Navarro walked, Adam Jones gave the Rainiers a 4-3 lead with a two-run double off Bees' starter Pedro Liriano. Jones scored from second on an infield single by Jeremy Reed.
Liriano (1-4) took the loss, allowing six runs on 10 hits in 4 1/3 innings. Brown also added a double for two hits and two RBIs for the game. Kendry Morales and Nick Gorneault also had two hits each for the Bees, who have now lost three straight games for the first time this season.
