Gasoline at a local gas station went from $2.92 to $3.09 overnight. Lee Peacock of the Utah Petroleum Association says gas prices are rising due to the high demand. What high demand? Kids are still in school; few people are traveling. Gas prices are a lot higher now than they were right after Hurricane Katrina and the disruption in the Gulf Coast. Those of us with educations higher than second grade know how to spell G-R-E-E-D. That's all it is. Peacock and his buddies in the oil companies need to get an education about integrity, honesty and economics.
