PROVO Utah Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert will be the featured speaker at the Monday meeting of the Utah County Republican Women.
Herbert will speak at noon in Room 221 of the Provo City Library at Academy Square, 555 N. University Ave.
As lieutenant governor, Herbert leads the state's efforts concerning homeland security, transportation, water and rural affairs issues. Prior to being lieutenant governor, Herbert served 14 years on the Utah County Commission.
A light lunch will be served, and visitors and new members are welcome. Call 796-0831 for information.
