Salt Lake City 2007-08 proposed budget

• Property tax: No increase.

• Fees: Increase to $1 per paying vehicle per day at airport, Matheson Courthouse, Salt Palace, Gallivan Center and library parking garages, up from 50 cents at the airport and a new fee at the other garages; 4 percent water-rate increase; 9 percent water, sewer and stormwater impact fee increase for developers.

• Services: Six new firefighters; two new planners, including one for historic preservation; one new building inspector.

• Miscellaneous: Creation of the Energy Fund for the Future to improve the city's energy efficiency.
