Texas-based Hanson Pipe & Precast has acquired Cheyenne Concrete Co. and subsidiaries Eagle Precast Co. and Alpine Crane & Rigging.
Eagle Precast is a 250-employee, Salt Lake-based manufacturer of precast/prestressed concrete structural and architectural building components. Alpine provides crane services for Eagle Precast and other companies in the Salt Lake area.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition includes facilities in Salt Lake and Caldwell, Idaho. The Eagle Precast facilities will be part of Hanson Structural Precast's region based in Irwindale, Calif. The region services California and includes 375 employees.
Hanson makes products used in commercial, residential and educational buildings, sports facilities, bridges and parking structures.
