KAYSVILLE A commuter bus was involved in a crash after apparently being cut off Tuesday, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
The bus was northbound on U.S. 89 when the accident happened at 3:44 p.m., UHP spokesman Preston Raban said.
A pickup truck, a car and the Utah Transit Authority bus were all seriously damaged and the driver of the truck was ejected. The 20-year-old man was flown from the scene in critical condition, Raban said.
Four other people were injured.
It was not immediately clear whether the car or the pickup cut off the bus and caused the accident, Raban said.
Northbound lanes of the road remained closed during the evening commute.
