Utah's Prehistory Week runs May 5-12. Activities during the week will include tours of archaeological sites, lectures, workshops, demonstrations, activities and more to highlight the varied prehistory of the state.
The event will kick off with the annual Prehistory Open House Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Participants can make Fremont figurines or "rock art," throw an atlatl, tour the archaeology lab, grind corn and more.
