It is crazy to think that the past four years built up to this one day of the draft. I sit back and think, "Is this really happening to me? Am I really going to be drafted into the NFL?" Then the realization hits.
My wife has been wonderful over this whole experience, me leaving to train for two months in Florida and the uncertainty of where we are going to be living for the next four or five years. All of these thoughts crossed my mind, but it didn't affect my belief in the whole draft process.
It's been completely overwhelming the response and support everyone in the Utah community and my hometown of Rancho Cucamonga have shown my family and I. Sometimes I spend quiet time just reminiscing back as to what everyone means to us and how far we've come and all the hurdles we've had to overcome.
My wife, Chanel, and I really miss everyone in Utah and wished that all of the Ute fans and community supporters could be here with us to share in our special day, but we know they are here with us in spirit. Wish us luck!
