EPHRAIM The Scandinavian Heritage Festival, to be held May 25-26, will celebrate the influence and culture of the Scandinavian Mormon pioneers who settled in the Sanpete Valley in the 1800s.
The festival will take place in Ephraim, Utah's "Little Denmark" and home to Snow College. Festival events will take place on or near the campus, beginning May 25 at 6 p.m.
Events include a Little Denmark supper, featuring authentic Scandinavian foods; a parade; Hans Christian Andersen story-telling; entertainment; and booths with Scandinavian food and crafts.
The finalized scheduled will be posted May 10 at www.scandinavianheritagefestival.com.
