The Economic Development Corp. of Utah said it has signed an agreement with Utah County to provide economic development and business recruiting services to the county.

Under the terms of the contract, EDCU will implement an outreach and training program designed to engage city economic development officials more frequently; provide for aggressive site identification and qualification; and meet enhanced reporting and accountability measures.

EDCU has hired Russ Fotheringham to work with Utah County full time. Prior to joining EDCU, Fotheringham served as an economic development director for Utah County, as well as for the state of Utah.
