Kudos to protesters at BYU

I congratulate those students at Brigham Young University who showed their opposition to the school's invitation of Vice President Dick Cheney. Their protests were conducted in a constructive and peaceful way and should allow for more political dialogue at the LDS school.

However, I find their choice of keynote speaker for the alternative graduation, Ralph Nader, more than slightly ironic. After all, if Nader had not thrown his hat into the ring in the 2000 election, there would be no "Vice President" Cheney.
