I agree, in part, with what the good professor Woodworth had to say. But I would like to add my own two-cents worth. I think truth will be compromised when Vice President Dick Cheney takes to the podium. Bias will be "enthroned." Surely America is perishing for lack of knowledge. And the press is a bought and paid for accomplice.

I certainly hope Professor Woodworth's classes are not the fact-free zone his My View piece was in regard to Vice President Cheney. I'm sorry to say, if this is the level of his teaching at the Marriott School, he should be doing something else.

The countercommencement appears more like a "senior group project" gone bad. One asks, "what were they thinking?" If I were a professor who gave such an assignment, I would fail them all. I don't expect to see any of the leaders of this movement apprenticing for Donald Trump in the near future!

These students are not toddlers protesting an early bedtime. They are adults who have made a personal political decision not to support Cheney's visit. Their reasons may vary, but the important thing is they have a voice.
