    Chase Fine Arts Center (Twain Tippetts Gallery, Utah State University) — "BFA Exhibition," featuring sculpture, ceramics, photography, painting, drawing and printmaking by graduating art students, through May 4. Artists reception Friday evening from 7-9.

    Loge Gallery (The Roy W. and Elizabeth Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, 1340 E. Broadway, U., 581-7222) — Paintings by father and son artists Gary Collins and John Collins through June 16.

  • Saturday

    Kimball Art Center (638 Park Ave., Park City, 435-649-8882) — Main gallery: "Wasatch Back Student Art Show," featuring artwork by young artists in Summit and Wasatch counties, through May 28. Opening reception today, from 2-4 p.m.

American Institute of Architects (329 W. Pierpont) — "Both Sides of the TRAX: Investigations in The Gateway District," featuring work by eight students from the University of Utah School of Architecture that focuses on The Gateway, Road Home and warehouse district.

Art Access* (230 S. 500 West, 328-0703) — "La Migra," featuring new acrylic paintings by Jimmy Lucero, through May 9.
