Stop gasoline gouging

Blah, blah and blah! The news that the price of gas jumped 45 cents in the last month came as a shock to me. I was aghast and agog. But do we really need reminding? It hits me in the face every time I fill up my car.

With the elections coming up, my vote will go to any politician who has the guts to say "I am going after Mobil-Exxon and will indict them for ripping off the public" and then do it. They have had Senate hearings about the price of gas. As a result, we are no better off than we were before their lip service and photo opportunities.

Do you know what happens when the price of a barrel of oil goes down by $3? Nothing. But let it go up 50 cents and the price guy at the station already has his numbers changed.

Somebody, anybody, stop this madness.
