The eloquent tribute paid to historian Davis Bitton in today's Deseret Morning News caught the very essence of the man. Thank you. Such individuals create ripples in the pond of time that will influence the writing of Mormon Church history for years to come. Some claim that the "Camelot" which Arrington and Bitton helped develop is dead. However, your editorial recognition of Davis Bitton's historical prowess and his balanced perspective suggests otherwise, and we can confidently proclaim: "Camelot is dead Long live Camelot."
