PROVO — Utah Valley's National Day of Prayer commemoration will be May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Provo Tabernacle, 100 S. University Ave.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be the keynote speaker.

The event is co-sponsored by the Utah Valley Ministerial Association and the Utah Valley University Interfaith Student Association.

The commemoration will include clergy from eight different faiths, along with various performing groups, including the Provo High School advanced choir and the Utah Valley Handbell Choir.

Scriptures from both the Bible and the Quran will be read at the event.

The event is open to the community. NuSkin will provide parking for the event, and street parking is available around the tabernacle.
