2007 Off-Road Expo this weekend
This is the second year the show has been in the Salt Lake area. It will showcase all the latest off-road toys, technologies, gear and accessories from dozens of the industry's leading manufacturers, dealers and distributors such as 4 Wheel Parts, Chevrolet, Interco Tire, Skyjacker Suspensions, Tuff Country and Toyota.
There will be displays of new buggies, four-wheel drives, utility terrain vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes, rock crawlers, Jeeps, trucks and accessories.
Also featured will be an ATV test track, a freestyle motorcycle stunt show, a 32-foot rock-crawling wall and the Motocross America display from the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum. The motorcycle freestyle stunt shows will be held each day. Riders will be doing synchronized stunts, back flips, wheelies and more.
The KYMCO outdoor demo area covers 10,000 square feet and will include a dirt track where attendees can test ride ATVs. Helmets, gloves and protective gear will be provided for all riders, who are encouraged to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
The Off-Road Expo will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is located at 9575 S. State. Admission is $10 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and children 5 and under are free. On Sunday, all children 12 and younger are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
