Maliyah Herrin, 5, was doing "really well" Sunday as she recuperated from her April 3 kidney transplant. Maliyah and conjoined twin Kendra, who were born sharing several organs, were surgically separately last August. Maliyah had been on dialysis until receiving a kidney from her mother, Erin.
Maliyah was "calm and stable" over the weekend, said Primary Children's Medical Center spokeswoman Bonnie Midget.
