KSFI ("FM-100") is No. 1 in the Arbitron ratings for the second straight month, outdoing sister station KSL (AM-1160/FM-102.7).

In the age 12-plus general ratings, KSFI has an 8.2 percent audience share for part two of the "winter book." KSL is second at 7.8 percent.

There's a big drop after that, and it is amazing how even the playing field of percentages has become for the other stations. KOSY (FM-106.5) is third at 4.8 percent, followed by KUBL (FM-93.3) at 4.7 percent and KUUU ("U-92") at 4.5 percent.

KOSY and KUUU have perhaps their best ratings ever, while two other stations, KXRK and KZHT are in a big slump.

The remainder of the ratings are:

6. KRSP (4.2 percent share)

7. KNRS-AM (4.0)

8. (tie) KHTB/KRAR and KXRK (3.5 percent)

10. KZHT (3.3)

11. KSOP-FM (3.2)

12. (three-way tie) KBER, KDUT and KODJ (2.9)

15. KJMY (2.6)

16. KENZ (2.4)

17. (tie) KBMG and KKAT (2.2)

19. (tie) KBEE and KBZN (2.1)

21. KEGA (1.4)

22. KXRV (1.3)

23. KJQN (1.2)

24. KUDD/KUDE (1.1)

25. KFNZ-AM (1.0)

26. KDYL-AM (0.9)

27. (three-way tie) KLO-AM, KSOP-AM and KZNS-AM/KOVO-AM (0.8)

30. KYMV (0.7)

RADIO HAPPENINGS Donny Osmond has his own syndicated radio show, "8 Track Playback," and now it is airing locally on KOSY (FM-106.5), weekdays at 8:40 a.m. Billed as the "grooviest show on the radio," it began airing locally this month on KOSY. In the show, "Donny spotlights a different year in music history and plays a song from that year," according to the station's Web site.
