• Wasatch Community Gardens: Conservation Irrigation Workshop, Saturday, April 14, 10 a.m.-noon, Grateful Tomato Garden (600 E. 800 South). Learn to conserve water in your garden using irrigation. RSVP to reserve your space: 359-2658.

• Steve Vinisky will present a lecture on daffodils in the Garden Visitors Center at Thanksgiving Point, tonight at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

• Utah Daffodil Show is hosted by Thanksgiving Point, April 13-14, 10 a.m.— 8 p.m. Gardeners are encouraged to bring blooms from their garden and enter them in the show. Entries will be accepted on April 13 from 8-10 a.m. For information call 801-768-7443. Regular garden admission applies.

• Utah Daffodil Show hosted by Red Butte Garden, April 14 -15, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Competition entries accepted on Saturday, 8-10 a.m. Competition judging on Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon. Regular garden admission applies.
