Top valley hoopsters earn all-region honors
Teams are voted on by the coaches in the area
The valley's top prep basketball players get honored each year in three ways.
First, there are the all-state teams picked by the coaches throughout the state. Then there are all-Utah Valley teams, picked by sportswriters. Finally, there are the all-region teams, voted on only by the coaches in each region. All-region honors normally are geared more toward recognition of play in region competition, but the honor is prestigious because it's based on the opinions of those the players faced every night.
Here's a list of the all-region teams for Utah County's two major leagues Region 4 and Region 7, as voted on by the coaches.
Region 4 boys
