Provo-based Raser Technologies Inc. has secured geothermal rights in Utah under the terms of seven lease agreements.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company said the leases are the first for the company outside Nevada. The properties covered by the agreements are in southern and western Utah and amount to 13,887 acres.
