The South Jordan Country Fest is searching for volunteers for the 2007 festival to be held June 29 and 30. This year's theme is "Home Grown Traditions." The headliner bands are Black Hawk and Little Texas. The event will feature the traditional draft horse pull, children's equestrian games, a parade, 5K run, the Lions Club breakfast, craft booths, food and a carnival. There will also be a volleyball and a tennis tournament. New events this year will include a Dutch oven dinner, dance heads, the kids place, a car show and a Friday night youth dance.

If interested in volunteering, visit the city's Web site, www.southjordancity.org, and visit the community events page to fill out an application.
