Improvements suggested for Eagle Mountain

• Maintain a general fund within Utah's state maximum allotted amount — in the 2005 fiscal year the city exceeded the amount by $925,224.

• Deposit cash within three days of receipt.

• Report on how the city's impact fees are collected and spent.

• Better train city employees on the city's accounting computer system.

• Review procedures for purchases and reimbursements.

• Receive authorization for employee reimbursements by someone of a higher authority than the one submitting the request.
