In a Nutshell: Opening with a mysterious picture postcard lying in the hallway (of a painting, "Woman in the Night"), this debut novel takes the reader on a wild but entertaining ride through historic Barcelona. When Lucas and "the alluring Nuria" are kidnapped by a religious cult, the ride continues through history. The writing is delicious.
