CENTERVILLE — The Davis County Commission will hold an open house tonight to take comments from Davis County residents.

The open house at 6 p.m. at Centerville City Hall, 250 N. Main, will be followed by a Centerville City Council meeting.

This is the fourth such open house that commissioners have held to get in touch with the community and meet City Council members.

Commissioners Bret Millburn and Louenda Downs said during their campaigns for office in 2006 that they wanted to hold a traveling commission meeting to hear from people who can't make it to the regular 10 a.m. Tuesday commission meetings in Farmington. The third commission member, Alan Hansen, supported the idea.

So far, commissioners have visited Clearfield, North Salt Lake and Layton.
