One person was killed and at least three were critically injured this evening when their van rolled on I-15 near Willard.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Preston Raban said the highway was closed this evening in both directions, from 2700 North to the Willard exit, in Box Elder County, while helicopters were landing to transport patients from the scene. Officers did not know when the highway would re-open.
Witnesses told police that the van was traveling at a high rate of speed, possibly 80 mph, before the accident. Four occupants were ejected from the van as it rolled.
