OGDEN Weber State University's department of physics will host a Physics Open House Friday, April 13, from 6-10 p.m. in Lind Lecture Hall. The event, which is free and open to all ages, will feature presentations and demonstrations conducted by WSU physics professors.
Scheduled events include a "Circus of Physics" demonstration show featuring levitating billiard balls and disappearing test tubes, glowing pickles and floating soap. Stacy Palen, director of the Ott Planetarium, will present a talk on black holes.
Organizers hope the open house will become an annual event on campus.
