PROVO Technology licensing and development company Raser Technologies Inc. on Thursday reported a net loss of $4.5 million, or 9 cents per share, for the quarter ended Dec. 31. That compares with a loss of $1.2 million, or 4 cents per share, in the year-earlier quarter.
Revenues totaled $44,717, down from $48,000 in the 2005 fourth quarter.
For the full year 2006, the company reported a net loss of nearly $18.5 million, or 26 cents per share, including $10.6 million related to noncash compensation charges. That compares with a loss of $14.6 million, or 29 cents per share, in 2005, which included $3.3 million in noncash compensation charges.
Revenues totaled $123,000, down from $332,000 in 2005.
Raser stock rose 4 cents Thursday to close at $4.95 per share. During the past year, the price has ranged from $3.11 to $19.55.
