Some limitations for new home-based occupations in Utah County:
- The business activity must be conducted exclusively by family members who live in the residence on a full-time basis, not less than 10 months per year.
- Employees coming to the residence are not permitted.
- The business use must be compatible with and secondary to the residential use of the property.
- Storage in or use of a garage or carport is not permitted.
- The business may not create any odors, smoke, dust, heat, fumes, light, glare, sounds, noises, vibrations, radio interference or television interference that are not commonly created by residential use.
