MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE MEN

The UNLV Rebels (30-6), winners of the MWC tournament, received a No. 7 seed and defeated No. 2 seed Wisconsin (30-6) Sunday 74-68. UNLV plays Oregon on Friday in St. Louis.

NIT: Air Force (24-8) hosts Georgia (19-13) at 7 p.m. Monday in the second round. San Diego State (22-10) travels to Syracuse (23-10) for a game at 5 p.m. Monday.

WESTERN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN

Regular-season champion Nevada (29-5), a No. 7 seed in the South Region, fell 76-68 to No. 2 seed Memphis (32-3) Sunday.

MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE WOMEN

TCU (21-11) is the 10th seed in the Dayton Region and lost 88-74 to No. 7 seed Mississippi (22-10) Sunday in Hartford, Conn.

MWC tournament winner New Mexico (24-9) received the No. 8 seed in the Fresno Region and lost 59-52 to No. 9 seed Wisconsin-Green Bay (29-3) in the first round Sunday.

WNIT: Wyoming (23-9) defeated Missouri (17-14) on Sunday 73-67. Wyoming plays Oregon in the third round. Utah (18-14) will play at Illinois (18-11), 6 p.m. today. The Utah/Illinois winner plays at Kansas State (17-14) Thursday in the third round.
