Cystic Fibrosis Foundation — Exciting opportunities to volunteer at Great Strides walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The walks will be held in April, May and June in Murray, Ogden, Provo, Stansbury Park and Cedar City. Data entry help also needed in chapter office.

March of Dimes — The March of Dimes Utah Chapter is accepting donations of used or obsolete cell phones. Funds raised will aid the March of Dimes' mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Camp Hobe — Volunteers needed for summer camp: June 2-8 (campers ages 6-12), June 10-15 (campers ages 12-19) and June 10-12 (campers ages 4-7).

Library for the Blind and Disabled — We are looking for volunteer tape inspectors to check shipments of books on cassette tapes to ensure that the quality of the recording meets specifications. We need volunteers available 2-3 hours per week from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

Red Butte Garden — Help lead weekly first- through fourth-grade school groups through Red Butte's outdoor classroom and share your passion for nature with budding young minds.

Adopt-a-Native Elder Program — Volunteers needed to work in the warehouse in Salt Lake City, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.-noon. Those interested in Navajo culture are needed to work on our Navajo curriculum project. Food packing volunteers are needed Saturdays, April 7 and 14 from 9 a.m.-noon.

Salt Lake City Marathon — The Salt Lake City Marathon needs volunteers to fill a variety of roles for the big race scheduled for April 21. The event benefits Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Volunteers may register online at www.saltlakecitymarathon.com or call for more information.

Healthy Aging — Volunteers needed March 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to become arthritis facilitators for Salt Lake County's Move to Improve exercise program. The event will be at the 10th East Senior Center.
