The "Don't Drive Stupid" campaign, aimed at teen drivers, features an ad showing a girl with stitches on her cheek, a black eye and bruised lip — all caused by a car accident. The campaign, part of UDOT's "Zero Fatalities" program, aims to encourage teenagers to buckle up and drive safely as well as reduce crash numbers and fatalities. The ad will be in a program distributed statewide at high school basketball championship events this weekend.
