The Food and Drug Administration has approved cloning animals for food. Contrary to what many believe, this could be a good thing. The actual cloned animals are not usually eaten. They are used for breeding. We can choose what type of meat we want. We finally have a "perfect" cow.
Many people are afraid to eat cloned food or eat cloned meat. However, not many people have knowledge of animal biotechnology. "Biotech" food is in stores and restaurants. It's already there and doesn't have to be marked. The next time you're eating a steak, it could be a regular corn-fed cow or the descendent of a clone.
